Welcome COORDINATORS
Achieve-A-Bowl is a way for you to have fun with your co-workers, friends, family, or student groups while raising funds to bring Junior Achievement programs to more Rhode Island classrooms.
Every year, over 400 bowlers from organizations throughout Rhode Island participate in our Annual Achieve-A-Bowl! We offer a variety of times and days to suit your team's needs.
A BRIEF overview
Our annual fundraiser begins in January.
Teams have an eight to ten-week period to recruit their bowlers and raise donations.
The coordinators will get their team together to decide which time is most convenient for the team to celebrate all their efforts with a bowling party.
The highest fundraisers will receive the biggest prizes, which will be delivered to their door approximately four weeks after the event.
How it works
Coordinators will receive a confirmation of their bowling date and time within two business days of registration. Please look out for the Coordinator Packet and save this Bowler Registration Spreadsheet.
Recruit your five-person bowling teams, be sure they are aware this is a fundraiser. Then send them to the Bowler page of this website which will give them all the tools needed to reach their networks.
There is a $15 registration fee per bowler ($75/team). The fee covers the cost of two hours of bowling, shoe rental, and an official event t-shirt. This is a link on the bowler page to pay online.
To participate, bowlers are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in donations ($500/team) but individuals who raise more are eligible for larger prizes!
If your team is unable to fundraise, consider covering the fundraising minimum.
Please note: sponsorship is separate from bowler fundraising efforts.
Children under 18 are allowed to bowl with parent/guardian approval. However, this event takes place in a bowling alley, and alcohol will be present.
Please note that:
JA policy prohibits children from fundraising. If a child under 18 bowls on a team of adults, the registration fee is still $15 but the team is still asked to raise $500 as a whole.
If you wish to put together a full lane of up to six children, no fundraising is expected from the lane, however, the registration fee is $20 per child bowler to cover costs.
